Since we give utmost importance to safety, we have an enclosed outdoor running space of 10 ft where your pet will be exercised. There are also newly remodeled kennels to keep your dog or cat safe and comfortable!
Our professionals will frequently check your pet to make sure that your friend is eating properly, drinking enough, and in excellent health.
We strongly recommend your pet is on heartworm and flea prevention. Please use the following as a checklist to ensure your pet has everything it needs to have a safe stay at Dog Lodge.
Emergency information: If there is an emergency with your furry friend, we have to know whom to contact for help. Please share the information of a friend or relative who could assist in an emergency or make a medical decision for your pet. If you have no one to contact locally, please provide your alternative contact number.
For your pet’s safety, we ask that you provide a copy of your pet’s vaccination records that are up to date. Vaccinations can be emailed or brought in the day of arrival.
For Dogs – Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies.
For Cats – Distemper and Rabies.
Food: Please bring enough food for your pet’s entire stay with us. A change in diet can cause stomach upset and add to the stress your pet may be feeling. Please bring food in a container that closes i.e. Ziploc bag, Rubbermaid container, etc. to keep the food fresh.
If your dog requires special feeding, please label the food and put it in individual plastic bags. Provide the same kind of food that your pet has been eating at home. Treats are welcome and will be given as directed.
Medication: If your pet is on medication, please bring it with you in a prescription bottle with the instructions written on the bottle. When it is not, we'll ask you to provide hand-written instructions as to how your pet is accustomed to receiving their medication and at what time(s).
If you wrap the medication in cheese, lunch meat, wet food, etc., please bring enough along to give to your pet with the medication. Avoid leaving loose pills in the dog’s food.
Blankets: Machine-washable blankets are welcome. Make sure any blankets you bring are ones you will not be upset about if your pet chews or soils them. Dogs can chew and also swallow an Afghan or a woven rag rug that can become a hazard to their health. Dog beds are only accepted for arthritic dogs.
Toys: Dog toys that are hand or machine-washable are welcome.
During drop off, you will be asked to fill out and sign a boarding contract. You can also fill out the
